Today is full of badgering banshees,
Screaming on the television,
Screaming on the internet,
Screaming for attention.
They never tire themselves out
In their endless quest
To squeal over the highest notes,
A competition for self glory.
As they scream a sick song,
The fruit rots on a dying tree
And the farmer let’s the weather
Take it’s toll.
Watch out for the banshees.
They’re everywhere nowadays.
