The man watching from home
Has little to say that is kind
About the man on tv
Who has crafted an empire
From the ground up,
Dedicated to invention,
Dedicated to innovation,
Dedicated to an easier life.
The man at home was rejected,
His ideas laughed at,
And he let those ideas go
Drift to the uncaring wind.
So much for new ideas,
So much for dreams not shattered.
