The truth hits like a weight
Dropped from overhead-
Everyone wishes to be
The overnight millionaire
In the land of plenty.
As for the work,
Either all in good time
Or completely set aside.
Such is the mindset
In a place of few hardships.
But lessons that are learned
Through break and burn
Are tossed to the incinerator
Of bleak, careless society.
