Like a colorful Spring day,
Watching nature’s resurrection
And the pop of bright colors.
Like a colorful Spring day,
Planting on a weekend
To see it sprout to life.
Like a colorful Spring day,
Seeing the leaves return
And the frosts fade out.
Like a colorful Spring day,
Switching out the hoodie
For a T-shirt.
Like a colorful Spring day,
Noticing the days get longer
But knowing that the heat
Is on its way.
Like a colorful Spring day.
