Time Flies

By Andrew R. Duckworth

Today moves swift into tomorrow,
In a blink, and then memory,
Memories piled upon memories,
Enough to compose decades.

Future waits through the doorway,
Leaving a sting at the past,
In a hall of past and possibility,
Echoes from before,
Seeing glimpses of what’s to come.
