Intercession

At times, my soul screams out
In fits of frustration,
Sometimes in anger,
Sometimes in deprivation.
I rarely know what to pray for
Other than a continued connection
To the One who blessed me
Far before I bowed my head
In earnest prayer
And daily reflection.

  1. Hi Ryan; this is Aunt Connie (actually, your Dads Aunt. I love reading all of your writings. Keep up the good work. I know you put a lot of time and thought into what you write. I don’t know a lot about writing; but I do like to read – a lot of variety! I hope that you will be putting a lot of your writings together, so they can be published. I would love to have a book if your works. I hope you have always kept your works from the time you first started. It’s always great to be able to go back and read one day, where you started- and to see how far you have came in your ideas and thinking process!! You would actually appreciate that when you became much older; you are still very young. We love you, and Addie(sp)? Even though I know you do not remember us from when you were just a little boy. Sorry, this was a book!!😂

    1. I appreciate your kind words. I remember you. It has been a long time, but I do remember. I am currently working on a book of poetry. It won’t be any found on the site, but I’m hoping that it will be enjoyable.

      1. It’s only an idea at this point. Whether it will ever see the light of day is not entirely up to me. If I have to, however, I will self publish. I really like the possibilities with that idea. I will absolutely keep everyone in the know.
