Revelation

In an instant, it will be revealed
Like a bright ray of sun
Piercing the veil
From the eastern sky,
A bright morning
After civil twilight,
When humanity, once civil,
Acted with a hollow heart.

Sure, war will come,
Plague will ravage,
And man will show himself savage.
But peace waits beyond
In the light that will show
On all the Earth.
And, for those elect,
A glorious day will unfold.
