By Andrew R. Duckworth
I saw the clouds in the sea
With the sun giving a wink to me.
But the face of the deep
Woke me from my sleep
And dread soon replaced my glee.
I saw the depths beyond its face
That set us on a trying race,
One that would deplete
The step of our feet
And leave us broken in this place.
But as I reflected on the sea,
I saw that the Truth was waiting,
Waiting…
Waiting there inside of me.
Beautiful!
