They want to meet the famous names
The ones that pop up in their feed
No longer a want, but a need.
Life has become a wicked game-
A contest of numbers and titles,
Waiting in line, their life idle.
I wish that I’m able to say
It doesn’t affect me the same way
But truth is scary in this day.
Its claws are clutching the Earth.
We’re losing drive over time-
Exchange of good for petty crime
Listening to the clock chime.
When will we have a great rebirth?
