The path’s been laid
The plan outlined
Another day older
And what do you find
Standing on the corner
Looking for a sign
As the world turns
It’s a hard fought battle
One of the mind
Seeing despair
Wishing people were kind
Looking at our screens
Until we go blind
As the world burns
Maybe there’s a smile
On the horizon
While we wait on the heaven
We arise in.
