Heavy rain against the roof,
Slow unpredicted rumble.

Saturday-game day for America,
A drip of excitement on tv.

Lazy fluffy dog on the bed,
Doesn’t know why the tv’s so loud.

Insta-reels from past students,
Living out dreams, loving life.

Saturday-lazy day for America,
A day of weekly recovery.

Heavy rain against the roof
Brings no motivation.

Low distant rumble of thunder
For a stay-in Saturday.
