Two Steps Back

Inconvenience breeds opportunity
For a change so necessary
As to leave electric behind-
Be the eclectic one
Who doesn’t conform to the
Eyes prying apart a smartphone
Or fingers tapping at keys
A million times a minute.
Perhaps without a screen,
Everything might feel like
Childhood- like danger is in
The movies and the person
Across the street doesn’t
Hate you.
