By Andrew R. Duckworth
It seems strange in these loud but silent days
That man can find the Truth yet lose his way.
Yet men have often straddled ‘long the road
Rather than walk in ways that they’ve been shown.
And now, the time has come when men must choose
Whether their life or soul they’d rather lose
As wicked men stand in their tall towers
And flex their might and fierce unjust powers.
The bell tow’rs fall silent within this time
When demons shriek and still commit the crime
Of steering men away from that great path
That leads unto salvation and not wrath.
Yet, do not be disheartened, my dear friend.
The choice is ours to make before the end.
