Upon horizons move the strongest storms
And we can see them gathered all around
With wind that speeds so fast beyond the norm
And light that spreads and crashes to the ground.
We’ve seen the tempests much like these before
That ravage ships and rip the sails away,
That strike the fear of God upon our core
And leave us with no home in which to stay.
We’ve conquered these that threaten us with death,
And seen the devastation in their wake,
But when we felt like taking our last breath
We broke such tempests with God’s holy quake.
So take these hardships knowing what will be.
Our God’s the master of the land and sea.
