By Andrew R. Duckworth

Liberty’s river flows through the center,
The valley thrives on freedom waters clear,
There’s freedom there out in the valley green,
Where words of warning are not to be heard,
And a man can live as he sees fit to,
Free to make his home in land that prospers,
In a land in which he’s free to ponder
Over words of wisdom and thoughts so free,
Like wild horses with no fences around,
Or the wild flowers growing near a stream,
Or clouds up high with everywhere to go.
Those mountains yonder can’t get in your way
With freedom’s valley to travel by day.
