This Spreading Sickness

Signs of sickness
Echo through eons,
Giving no sign of slowing,
Reviving with opportunity,
Envious of good will,
Growing in symptoms
And spreading like fire.
Time, some say, heals.
I’ve seen enough to know
Only the good of heart
Naturally tend to their neighbor.
