By Andrew R. Duckworth

Shutting down the opposition,
Only one holds to this position
And craves for obedience,
Your endless submission.
Listen to the inner voice
Amid the chaos and the noise,
Do it now while you still can,
Before they take away your choice.
Night is falling, falling fast.
We tend to think this world will last,
But midnight comes before we know,
Before our last deeds have been cast.
Hoist the sails to disembark
As we stand upon our ark!
We won’t go far, but if we pray
The winds might sweep the ship away
And end this dark and dreadful day
Before we’re lost in endless dark.
