It’s only too healthy to question status quo,
But God forbid we rattle their cage,
And provoke the tech lords’ rage.
One voice gone, another in overflow,
And they’re so mad they invite their ‘sage’
To take center stage.
Oh, what times we live in,
When voices have been so easy to erase,
Doing it all with a grin on their face.
Oh, what times we live in,
When they attempt to win the race
By trying to put others in their place.
Bewilderment, for sure,
In these days that the lure
Is so appealing.
We’re a fish in a shrinking pond
With a fisherman offering safety.
