A tree. A tree lit with the light of the stars. Stars, built of blackened iron, Dangled on chains Without weather stains. A tree. A tree twisted with branch and vines, Absent any parallel lines, And the stars hanging by chains shine. They give new life to a barren tree Over tables filled with good company On a patio outside of a bar, The tree filled with stars, The cosmic tree.
