Snow falling after a 60 degree day.
Massive flakes.
Snow on chile ristras,
White wet flakes against dried maroon,
The water droplets forming soon.
At the adobe house, the snow
Continues in its early spring show.
In a backyard display of nature
Are the aspen trees, free of leaves.
White wet flakes against light gray.
Aspen trees.
I never knew their name,
But all the same,
They are beautiful,
In a bright blue day or skies of gray,
Near-white bark and trunk so stark.
A snowy day in Santa Fe,
And white wet flakes
Falling on the aspen trees.
