The Bird That Had Many Colors

Today, I saw a bird,
A bird that had many colors,
Each feather a bright new color,
Like it had collided with a rainbow.
It was perched at first,
Preening its feathers
Amid the sun
And the bright blue weather,
And off it went,
Soaring to the sky.
Fly, bird of many colors,
Fly.
