By Andrew R. Duckworth

In the city, I saw promise
Back then when I was younger.
Looked upon it with naive eyes
And saw the Hope Diamond.
She shined for miles
As I looked out a car window,
Wheels moving on the highway-
Lights dazzling in the distance.
And I finally got my bite
But it left a bitter taste
Amid the barrage of noise
And cascade of choices.
I realized my voice was not loud
Enough for an endless sea of sound.
No poem there, Drew; Just a beautiful photo!!

There’s a poem under the picture. Sometimes I post a picture with them.
