By Andrew R. Duckworth
I was told about a treasure
The kind that you can take
With you when you leave.
It was buried in a cave
After being slaughtered by man’s hand.
And so I went looking,
But when I found the cave
It was empty, not a trace.
A watcher caught me and told the truth-
That treasure multiplied
For all of mankind
If only we would accept it.
And so I walked away in faith
And have been richer ever since.
