Everything on the Dinner Menu

I looked at the menu-
Starters, entrees, dinner wines,
A wide range,
My eyes gazing from one option
To eternity.
The table next to me had been
Overwhelmingly negative.
They seemed to be offended
That a food of their disliking
Passed by their table.
They requested that the establishment
Close their doors permanently.

How miserable it must be to be
So upset at another patron’s order.
