The Holy Land

I have always wanted to go
To the Holy Land,
That area that houses
Three major faiths.
A place where, I suppose,
If a priest and rabbi walked
Into a bar, it wouldn’t be
The beginning of some joke.
I have so much hope for that place,
Where a priest, rabbi, and imam
Might share peace while strongly
Disagreeing on what matters most.

But I have hope that this extends
To more than just the Holy Land.
