Summer Rains 2023

Hammers thrown from the sky
And slamming against the roof,
Filling the room, the house,
With near endless thunder.
Thirty minutes of water
Collapsing, aimlessly pelting
Towards an unsuspecting land,
But it was needing a drink or two.
