Architecture from the Old Days

By Andrew R. Duckworth

Those who made the building
Beautiful, a name you’ll rarely
Hear, but whose work lives on
Before your eyes,
Work you can’t deny,
Those of older days
Before the canvas of civilization
Was left mostly bare and boring,
Those hands might have left us
But the reminder of their impact
Lives for the moment.
