Autumn’s Watch

By Andrew R. Duckworth

The Autumn sits upon the grave
Of Summer months of endless wave
Of heat and moisture pouring through,

But devils dwell in fire and ice
To take it as their sacrifice,
And as the Winter beckons in
The Autumn will soon pay the price.
