By Andrew R. Duckworth

A stranger in a strange land,
Not knowing the native tongue,
But observing, listening, learning…
We find ourselves a stranger
At least once in our life.
But the one who shifts paradigms
Finds themself a stranger frequently,
Through changing landscape,
Changing times,
Stranger times,
Adapting and confronting,
A stranger in a strange land.
But not all change is good.
We must still do what we should,
Even if we come to find
That we are strangers in our homeland.
