Perhaps ‘beyond’ is the new normal-
Beyond tired,
Beyond angry,
Beyond dangerous,
But in the land of extremes,
‘Beyond’ is just another word,
Filling up space on a page,
-Over it.
Beyond ‘beyond’ lies more problems.
‘Catastrophically,’
Imagine using that as a descriptor.
Catastrophically tired,
Catastrophically angry,
Catastrophically dangerous.
Of course, I doubt someone might say
“I’m catastrophically happy!”
At least, I hope they wouldn’t.
But I suppose ‘Beyond’ is not all that bad.
At least it isn’t lazy, like ‘very.’
